When Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule took over
the mantle of office as the Governor of Nasarawa State, in 2019, he had prepared his mind for what he was going to do to advance the fortune of the North Central State and better the lot of the people of Nasarawa He knew that a common vision for shared prosper- ity for the State and rallying stakeholders towards its achievement, was going to be the best way to go. So, along with his formidable Think-tank, he came up with the Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS). “It is founded on the belief that by setting a com- mon course and investing in shared goals, better economic outcomes will be achieved,” he stated in his introductory remarks. The Nasarawa Economic Development Strategy (NEDS) is a testament to the collective commitment to implementing a practicable Economic Transfor- mation Strategy for the State, as he promised during his campaign. NEDS is founded on a vision to sustain accelerated growth of the Nasarawa economy and translate this to clear improvement in the lives of the citizens, and the achievement of other key development outcomes
